My father told me of how he and his brothers walked across a cow pasture to attend the old one room, country schoolhouse decades ago, where he was one of only two students in his eighth grade class. This painting is from my imagination of an old white schoolhouse in a peaceful county setting. The painting continues around the sides of the gallery-wrapped canvas and it is wired to hang, so that no framing is necessary. The painting measures 14” x 14” x 3/4” deep.
